A Simple Desert Oasis
The Ranger Cabin is a rustic off grid cabin that offers almost no amenities. There is no concierge, room service, or continental breakfast. There is no linen service or fancy little bottles of shampoo. It does however offer beautiful views of the Painted Dessert wilderness, quiet serenity and amazing star gazing opportunities from the comfort of a cozy one room cabin with a queen size bed and a flush toilet.
Guests planning to stay at this remote backcountry cabin should bring everything they will need, including food, sleeping bags (or linens for the queen size bed), toilet paper, and drinking water. Please remember to clean up after your stay and leave the cabin ready for the next visitor.

Take exit 303 (Adamana) off I-40 then take the frontage road on the north side of the interstate east past Stewarts Rock Shop. This is Washboard Road. Follow Washboard road to Black Curve Road. Veer left and follow Black Curve road North. Then veer right at the intersection of Black Curve and Stonetree Roads. Follow Stonetree road to the cabin, veering right just before the abandoned Winnebago camper.

Katzenmeyer Real-Estate is a small family operation that has grown over the years to include multiple properties. Most of the properties have been acquired by happenstance with no real plan of action. Almost all of the properties were either abandoned, condemned, or in general disrepair. Each property has it's own unique history and story.
